Partners in Education
The Foundation of Birches Academy invites you to join our “Partner in Education” community sponsorship program. By sponsoring, you’ll be helping The Birches Academy of Academics & Art, a 2022 National Blue Ribbon school, implement many programs that will benefit our students today and help secure our school’s future.
The Birches Academy is a public, tuition-free charter school that opened its doors for the first time in September 2012 to 88 elementary school students from 9 communities in southern New Hampshire. We now educate over 240 students from 15 surrounding communities through a curriculum rich in Art, Music & STEAM.
NH charter schools are funded at a rate of 50% compared to traditional public schools, one of the lowest rates in the country. No local educational funds are transferred to the charter school so we do more with less to achieve our mission of providing the highest quality education using cutting-edge technology and flexible, out-of-the-box concepts that meets each student at their learning level and prepares them for a successful future.
Our new “Partner in Education” sponsorship packages start at $250 and run through the entire 2023-2024 school year. If you’re not able to join our program today, we’d also appreciate your consideration of donating a gift card or in-kind product or service for incentive prizes for fundraisers we run throughout the year, a one-time donation at www.birchesacademy.org or a check made payable to The Foundation of Birches Academy.
